The CEO Series launched October 8, 2009 with a presentation
by John Schoeph, CEO of La Cucina Rustica LLC, operators of the
highly successful
www.cybercucina.com. The e-store supplies Northern Italian food,
tea, coffee, and other high-end nonperishable food. Schoeph talked about the practical elements of e-business success, from
product selection through merchant account charges, touching on how
pay per click, search engine optimization, and site search
technologies can improve conversion ratios, and therefore the
company’s bottom line. The event attracted approximately 60
executives and business owners.

The CEO Series continues on November 12, 2009 with Ryan Kelsey, CEO
of TimeCricket, a U.S.-based distributor of specialty skin care
products such as the best-selling bilingual foot care line in the
U.S., the first protective chlorine barrier/healing lotion for the
world's most competitive swimmers, and the first physical sunblock
that meets Australian standards with UV-sensitive packaging. Kelsey
will speak on setting up distribution for imported and exported
products.

December 10th:
Eat cake/keep cake
The CEO Series concludes its fall schedule on December 10, 2009,
with Dave Pollock, CEO of Polyad USA. Serial entrepreneur Pollock
will discuss how to build a business worth selling, and then build
another one.
