Seek
a Balanced Life Career
Growth articles have
been taken from Plant What Others Throw Away by Paul R.
Lloyd. The book will be available in paperback this spring
through
www.PromiseGarden.com. I’m seeking endorsements from
published business authors for the back page and inside front
page copy. Call for details: 630-393-6516 or send an
e-mail. |
Our
pace is so hectic that life passes by in a blur. You can lose site
of who you are and what you want to accomplish.
A balanced
life does not mean that you live the same way everyday. The blur
image reminds us that life can move extremely fast. The harvest can
sneak up on you. There’s a time to work hard reaping financial
rewards and a time for resting with your family on vacation.
Seek a
balanced life that includes work, your spouse, your children,
extended family, friends, church, and community. Save a few minutes
for yourself. Don’t forget to spend a moment with the Lord. Setting
aside a part of your day for everything and everybody is a tall
order. You cannot be with everyone on a regular schedule. The world
doesn’t work that way.
Continue
moving forward in the right direction, knowing life will be out of
balance occasionally. Seek God’s equilibrium for your life. A little
blur is good. Too much hurts.
“… Provide
purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven
that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth
destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be
also.”
Luke
12:33-34
